Erika Perloff, Pastel Painter

Erika, a native Californian, has been painting the Central Coast region since 1990. Her lush and colorful paintings are examples of pure expression landscapes evoke in her.

Jody Bare linocut wearable art

Jody Bare was introduced to her meduim when she was nine by her mother. In graduate school at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, she minored in Textile Design. Together with her family she moved to Santa Cruz in 1983. Today she prints designs of flowers, shells, and geometric motifs for art to wear, and prints more detailed story blocks on paper, matted and framed. Her art continues to evolve but she has not waivered from her original linocut medium.

I bought a nice camera and moved to California in 2003. I have been lucky enough to work for San Mateo County and Exploring New Horizons as a naturalist and outdoor educator. My work and interests have landed me outside as much as possible and California is a grat place to learn about the natural world.

All my life I have been intrigued by forms and shapes found in nature. I have worked in many facets of the jewelry and metal working field,  and from weathervanes to wedding rings, my work is dementional in nature. I work mostly in a series, trying to explore vairations in technique while insuring that each peace is unique and one of a kind. Time spent carving waxes, and sawing metal, as well as combining copper, brass, and sterling to employ different color and patina finishes on my work articluates my love of nature.

Una has been residing in the Santa Cruz mountains for over 30 years. The mediums she works with are in relationship to her deep connection of nature, and an outgrowth of her spiritual journey. The expression of art and life manifested in these necklaces comes from her dedication to listening and observing the world around her.

From this very local farm we carry a wide variety of hand made soaps and bath products. These products are also used in our rooms; so if you like what you used it is available down stairs in our store for purchase! Bonny Doon also runs a fantastic winery and holds daily tasting and wine tours at their farm just 15 minutes south.

Isvara Organics

A locally owned green company whose line of bath products are hand made of certified organic ingredients. Beautifully bottled in glass with products like an Orange Mint Toner and Honey and Flowers cleansing gel, this line is a great way to pamper yourself!
